Program Descriptions
Our classes are kept to a low student-teacher ratio.
All children grow and mature at different levels. Our programs are designed with activities that reflect these developmental differences. The age ranges are given as a guide only. Children are sometimes placed and moved along according to his or her current developmental level.
Infants
Our infant room is comprised of children from 3 wks to 18 months of age. This room is very laid back and colorful offering a warm loving environment that stimulates the growth of a young child.
Waddlers
Our waddler room consists of children ages 18 months to 2 years. This is also the room where we do encourage the children to potty train at their own pace. This program encourages independance and a little more structure than the infant room. If they are trained before they reach 2, and if developmentally ready, they may graduate to the toddler class.
Toddler
The toddler class consists of children 2 years to 3 years old. In this class, the children are more cognitively advanced and therefore are presented with a variety of activities that helps to prepare them for Pre-K.
Preschool
The preschool class are the advanced 3 year olds and children who have not yet started Kindergarten. This class is individualized to the learning capacity of each children with a goal that each child, regardless of age, will be prepared for Kindergarten. Each child is assessed to see where they are in hopes that by the end of the year, they have been given the appropriate tools to be on one accord with the rest of the class.
